powdered form \u2014 have been associated with many health benefits and are a staple in various recipes and cuisines. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are the benefits of baobab fruit and powder.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b> Rich in Many Important Vitamins and Minerals<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Baobab is a good source of many important vitamins and minerals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research shows that the nutritional content of baobab can vary depending on the geographical location where it\u2019s grown and between different parts of the plant, such as the leaves, pulp and seeds. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For instance, the pulp is high in vitamin C, antioxidants and several key minerals like inflammation and helped protect the heart from damage (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/26913549\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">12<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A mouse study showed that baobab extract decreased oxidative damage to cells and reduced levels of inflammation (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/28843893\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">13<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, despite these promising findings, more research is still needed to determine how baobab may impact inflammation in humans.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b> High Fiber Content May Promote Digestive Health<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Baobab is a\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">good source of fiber, and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">powdered versions can contain up to 18% of the daily recommended value in just one tablespoon (10 grams) (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ndb.nal.usda.gov\/ndb\/foods\/show\/09544\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fiber moves through your gastrointestinal tract undigested and is essential to digestive health (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/24876314\"
